Formed in Metro Detroit, Michigan in 2013, I Prevail have risen to become one of modern metalcore’s most dynamic forces.
Following the success of Lifelines (2016), TRAUMA (2019), and TRUE POWER (2022), the band now enter a bold new chapter with their fourth album Violent Nature. Self-produced at Nashville’s Blackbird Studios under the guidance of bassist/keyboardist Jon Eberhard, the record marks vocalist Eric Vanlerberghe’s debut as the group’s sole singer, delivering both clean and unclean vocals with ferocious intensity.
From the brutal title track to the soaring anthem Rain, Violent Nature captures the extremes of I Prevail’s sound, balancing aggression and vulnerability in equal measure. Welcome, then, to the new era of I Prevail. Not only is this the best version of the band to date, but it bristles with intention, passion and energy.
